Job Description

The Automotive Electronics (AE) division develops new electronic control units (e.g. for combustion engines, comfort functions, airbags) and a wide range of sensors (e.g. for battery charge state, inertial, yaw-rate, pressure, NOx) in close cooperation with manufacturing. These products are engineered to a state of the art level both in technology and reliability and are to be found in cars of a very large group of manufacturers.

Your contribution to something big

Embedded software development mainly for automotive products (e.g. electric battery sensor, body computer, blower controllers, coolant proportional valves, engine compartment actuator, electronic pump control, alternator electronics, power steering)

►Taking part in development projects with worldwide lead development responsibility

Analysing and understanding the customer requirements

Delivering software components based on given requirements

►Strong cooperation with different domains across the globe (HW engineers, System engineers, Test engineers)


What distinguishes you

Bsc/Msc in computer science, automation, electronics, telecommunications, informatics, mathematics or comparable

C/C++ programming skills

Interest in embedded technologies

Experience with embedded software development or with microcontrollers, including university projects or thesis research

Good problem solving skills and analytic mindset

Initiative and creative personality

Good English and/or German language knowledge
