Working within our Nottingham hospital, you will bring your thirst for knowledge to the laboratories, performing precise scientific, clerical and technical duties as allocated by the Pathology Manager. In this thrilling role, you will be tasked with simple pathology investigations, and you will monitor the movement of specimens, tissues and blood. Reporting factual data and assisting with research projects, you will be enthusiastic about communicating relevant information to interested parties and departments, and your ability to operate instruments that measure pathology analytes will prove invaluable.
As you will need to report the findings of your investigations in a clear and concise manner, your ability to analyse results and translate them into scientific reports will be crucial. As such you will be numerate and have good communication skills, and will have an understanding of MS Office and relevant scientific reporting systems. With experience of reporting on scientific laboratory functions, you will have previously worked in an independent sector medical laboratory and will be comfortable training others. Possessing the mandatory training requirements for a role at this level, you will be confident calibrating equipment and will be keen to work collaboratively in this great team environment.
