Job Description

The Automotive Electronics (AE) division develops new electronic control units (e.g. for combustion engines, comfort functions, airbags) and a wide range of sensors (e.g. for battery charge state, inertial, yaw-rate, pressure, NOx) in close cooperation with manufacturing. These products are engineered to a state of the art level both in technology and reliability and are to be found in cars of a very large group of manufacturers.

Your contribution to something big

Defining product use cases and life cycles, with consideration to loads and requirements

Contributing to product design processes with multidisciplinary teams                  

Discussing product reliability and validation relevant topics with internal and external customers

Defining validation tests according to standards, customer specifications, aging laws, etc.

Supporting root cause analysis, risk estimation and corrective measure implementation in case of test failures

Creating and presenting reports in English or German and presenting them to project teams and internal, or external customers

Qualifications

What distinguishes you

MSc in physics, chemistry, mechanical or electrical engineering or comparable

Interest in various technical fields (e.g.: electronics, analysis methods, material sciences, etc.)

Strong analytical skills, with structured and precise working style

Good communication and presentation skills

Ability to work individually and in teams

Good English and/or German language skills
